Who are we?

The Tualatin High School PackBackers is a parent run organization dedicated to supporting the sports programs and athletic facilities at TuHS through various community events and fund raising projects. We believe that access to a robust sports program and to quality athletic facilities are essential elements of the overall high school experience for all TuHS students. We achieve our goal by being responsible and responsive stewards of the community’s generosity.

The PackBackers is run by a volunteer Board of Directors who meet monthly throughout the school year.

What do we do?

The PackBackers coordinates a number of fundraising events and activities throughout the year. Through this effort and the support of the local community, the PackBackers is able to fund athletic facility improvements, as well as provide supplemental funding to the school’s 20+ athletic teams when a need arises and athletic department funds and team fund raising falls short of meeting the need. Our largest fundraiser is the Swing for the Wolves Crawdaddy Open Golf Tournament, which has been raising more than $10,000 per year since 2009!

How do you get involved?

Anyone can be a PackBacker and there a number of ways you can get involved!

  • Sign up to become a PackBacker today to support TuHS Athletics and start receiving the PackBacker e-newsletter, event notices, and fundraising alerts. As a PackBacker you will stay informed and can easily volunteer when the need arises and as it fits your schedule.
  • Join the Board and help serve the PackBackers mission. The Board meets once a month throughout the school year and elections are held in May for the following school year.
  • Volunteer to serve on a fundraising or event committee, or simply volunteer the day of an event. All PackBacker events, fundraising and volunteer opportunities are advertised through the team coaches and on the PackBacker website.

All PackBackers are invited to join us in the TuHS library the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm. Please watch for the daily bulletin via email, check out the reader board next time you drive by, and have a look at our website.
